WHAT IS A “LIP LIFT”?
Lip lift is a surgical procedure where a small portion of the skin and muscle are removed from under the nose region just above the upper lip to shorten the upper lip. This procedure gives a good projection to the upper lip which lacks volume and it also shortens the upper lip which would be long covering all the upper front teeth, giving a denture like smile. A short upper lip with little visibility of the upper tooth always looks aesthetic.
